R. Buckminster Fuller: The
History (and Mystery) of the Universe is an exuberant and critically-acclaimed
one-man play based on the life and writings of the visionary thinker-inventor-philosopher
Buckminster Fuller
Written and directed by D.W. Jacobs, and starring Ron Campbell, R.
Buckminster Fuller: The History (and Mystery) of the Universe depicts
Fuller as the genius he was, and whose life exemplified American
ingenuity. Best known as the architect of the geodesic dome, he
was above all an original and independent thinker, now regarded
as way
ahead of his time. Refusing to think in conventional ways, he was
an innovator, a futurist, and one of the first true contemporary
global philosophers.
Buckminster became the must-see theatrical
hit of San Francisco in 2000, and went on to enjoy critically
acclaimed presentations
in
Chicago and Seattle.
